APPEAL TO ISRAELI LEADERS TO SAFEGUARD DEMOCRACY AND FUTURE GENERATIONS

Dear Knesset Member, Dear President of the State of Israel,

In the face of the plan from the Israeli government to begin vaccinating children aged 12-15 as of May 2021, we, citizens of the State of Israel and the world, request your intervention to safeguard democracy and the health of our children. Currently, more than 5 million Israeli citizens, including 90% of the at-risk population, have been vaccinated with both doses, and should be protected from a severe form of the disease should they become infected with COVID-19. On the other hand, children do not belong to the population at risk, with a very low rate of children having contracted a severe form of the disease. Furthermore, children do not pose a significant risk to the population, as the vast majority of at-risk groups are already vaccinated. The current pressure from both the Israeli government and the Israeli Ministry of Health to vaccinate children aged 12-15 years (a population of over 750,000 individuals), starting in May 2021, with a treatment that is still in clinical trial, is unreasonable and may put our children at risk, by exposing them to substances and technology whose potential side effects are still under investigation. For example, an abnormally high number of cases of inflammation of the heart or the tissues surrounding it (myocarditis, pericarditis) has recently been observed in healthy young people recently vaccinated.

It is in this context that we turn to you, Mr./Madam Member of Parliament, Mr. President of the State of Israel, as a recourse to protect our children.

Children vaccination is a particularly sensitive issue because vaccines’ unnoticed side effects can have significant impacts on most of their lives. The issue should not be treated like any other routine childhood vaccine for at least three reasons: first, the vaccine uses a relatively new mRNA technology that has never been used before in a mass vaccination setting; second, the Pfizer vaccine clinical trial in 12- to 15-year-olds did not begin until March 2021, on a very small number of children, and is not scheduled to end until April 2023, providing limited insight into potential side effects ; finally, herd immunity is probably an unattainable goal in the long term and the vaccinated persons may need to receive additional doses in the near future. Therefore, the decision to start vaccinating children must be framed by a rigorous ethical approach, taking into consideration all the associated risks. The Hippocratic principle of "First, do no harm" must be our guide today, especially since this mass vaccination of healthy children involves unknown long-term consequences for the health and future of the Israeli people.

In light of the above, we ask you to reconsider with all due attention the government's plan to begin vaccinating children in May 2021, and to act to postpone this vaccination until we have more information on the side effects of the vaccine and the benefit/risk balance of the vaccine for children may be accurately assessed.

Your responsibility is immense, and it concerns not only the future of Israel, but that of all Humanity. Monsieur/Madame le député, Monsieur le Président de l’Etat d’Israël,

Face au projet du gouvernement israélien de débuter la vaccination des enfants de 12-15 ans dès le mois de mai 2021, nous, citoyens de l'État d'Israël et du monde, sollicitons votre intervention pour sauvegarder la démocratie et la santé de nos enfants. Actuellement, plus de 5 millions de citoyens israéliens, dont 90% de la population à risque, ont été vaccinés des deux doses, et devraient être protégés contre une forme grave de la maladie s’ils se trouvaient infectés par le COVID-19. En revanche, les enfants n'appartiennent pas à la population à risque, un taux très faible d'enfants ayant contracté une forme grave de la maladie. En outre, les enfants ne présentent pas de danger important pour la population, les catégories à risque étant déjà dans leur grande majorité vaccinées. Les pressions actuelles, tant de la part du gouvernement israélien que du Ministère israélien de la Santé, pour vacciner les enfants de 12-15 ans (une population de plus de 750 000 individus), à partir de mai 2021, avec un traitement qui est encore en phase de test clinique, sont déraisonnables et peuvent mettre en danger nos enfants, en les exposant à des substances et à une technologie dont les effets secondaires potentiels sont toujours à l'étude. Par exemple, un nombre anormalement élevé de cas d'inflammations du cœur ou des tissus qui l'entourent (myocardite, péricardite) a été récemment observé chez des jeunes en bonne santé récemment vaccinés.

C’est dans ce contexte que nous nous tournons vers vous, Monsieur/Madame le Député, Monsieur le Président de l’Etat d’Israël, en tant que recours pour protéger nos enfants.

La vaccination des enfants est une question particulièrement sensible car des effets secondaires ignorés des vaccins peuvent avoir des impacts importants sur la plus grande partie de leur vie. La question ne doit pas être traitée comme celle d’un autre vaccin de routine pour les enfants, et ce pour au moins trois raisons : tout d’abord, le vaccin utilise une technologie à ARNm relativement nouvelle, qui n'a jamais été utilisée jusqu’à présent dans le cadre d’une vaccination de masse ; ensuite, le test clinique du vaccin Pfizer sur les 12-15 ans n’a commencé qu’en mars 2021, sur un nombre très restreint d’enfants, et sa fin n’est prévue que pour avril 2023, ce qui n’offre qu’un recul limité sur les effets secondaires éventuels ; enfin, l’immunité collective est un objectif probablement inatteignable à long terme et les personnes vaccinées pourraient avoir besoin de recevoir des doses supplémentaires dans un avenir proche. Par conséquent, la décision de commencer à vacciner les enfants doit être encadrée par une approche éthique rigoureuse, prenant en considération l’ensemble des risques associés. Le principe d'Hippocrate « D’abord, ne pas nuire » doit être aujourd’hui notre guide, d’autant plus que cette vaccination massive de populations d’enfants en bonne santé implique des conséquences à long terme inconnues pour la santé et l’avenir du peuple israélien.

A la lumière de tout ce qui précède, nous vous demandons de reconsidérer avec toute l’attention nécessaire le projet du gouvernement de commencer la vaccination des enfants en mai 2021, et d’agir pour le report de cette vaccination jusqu’à ce que nous ayons davantage de recul sur les effets secondaires du vaccin et que la balance bénéfices/risques du vaccin pour les enfants puisse être précisément évaluée.

Monsieur/Madame le Député, Monsieur le Président de l’Etat d’Israël,

Votre responsabilité est immense, et celle-ci ne concerne pas seulement l’avenir d’Israël, mais celui de l’Humanité entière. Votre acte de courage pour protéger les enfants d’Israël de cette vaccination non mûrement réfléchie fera d’Israël, non plus le « laboratoire du monde », pour reprendre les termes du PDG de Pfizer, Albert Bourla, mais un phare mondial dans la sauvegarde de la démocratie et des générations futures.

Sehr geehrter Herr Präsident des Staates Israel

           Angesichts des Projekts der israelischen Regierung vom Mai 2021 mit der Impfung der 12- bis 15-Jährigen zu beginnen, ersuchen wir (Bürger des Staates Israel und der Welt) Sie, die Demokratie und die Gesundheit unserer Kinder zu retten. Bis jetzt wurden mehr als 5 Millionen israelische Bürger (darunter 90 % aus den Risikogruppen) mit zwei Dosen geimpft. Diese Personen müssten vor einer schweren Form der Krankheit geschützt sein, sollten Sie mit COVID 19 angesteckt werden. Auf der anderen Seite gehören Kinder nicht zum gefährdeten Teil der Bevölkerung denn sehr wenige von ihnen haben einen schweren Verlauf der Krankheit erlebt. Außerdem sind Kinder für die Bevölkerung keine große Gefahr, weil sie weniger ansteckend sind und der größte Teil der Risikogruppe schon geimpft ist.

Der derzeitige Druck der israelischen Regierung und des Gesundheitsministeriums, Kinder zwischen 12 und 15 Jahren (mehr als 750 000 Personen) ab Mai 2021 mit einer Behandlung die noch in der klinischen Testphase ist, zu impfen, ist unvernünftig. Es kann sogar unsere Kinder in Gefahr bringen, indem es sie einer Substanz und einer Technologie, deren mögliche Nebenwirkungen noch unter Beobachtung sind, aussetzt. Zum Beispiel wurde vor kurzem eine ungewöhnlich hohe Anzahl an Herzgewebeentzündungen bei jungen, gesunden und kürzlich geimpften Menschen festgestellt.

Deshalb appellieren wir an Sie Frau Abgeordnete, Herr Abgeordneter, Herr Präsident, unsere Kinder zu schützen.

           Die Impfung der Kinder ist eine besonders empfindliche Frage, weil unbekannte Nebenwirkungen eine bedeutende Auswirkung auf deren ganzes Leben haben kann. Die Frage darf nicht behandelt werden wie eine andere Routineimpfung für Kinder, und das aus drei Gründen:

- Erstens: diese Impfung benutzt eine Neue mRNA Technologie, die bis jetzt nie in einer Massenimpfung verwendet wurde.

- Zweitens: die klinische Testphase des Pfizer Produktes für 12-15-Jährige hat erst im März 2021 mit einer geringen Anzahl von Patienten begonnen und endet erst im April 2023, deshalb haben wir zurzeit nicht genügend Informationen über mögliche Nebenwirkungen.

-Außerdem ist eine kollektive Immunität wahrscheinlich langfristig unerreichbar und die Geimpften werden womöglich zusätzliche Dosen benötigen.

Folglich muss die Entscheidung, mit Kinderimpfungen anzufangen, ethisch sehr stark abgewogen werden und alle damit verbundenen Risiken sollten berücksichtigt werden. Das Hippokratische Prinzip: « Primum non nocere » (erstens nicht schaden) sollte uns den Weg zeigen, insbesondere, weil die Massenimpfung von gesunden Kindern langfristig unbekannte Konsequenzen für die Gesundheit und die Zukunft des israelischen Volkes haben können.

Vor dem Hintergrund dieser Daten bitten wir Sie, das Projekt der Regierung vom Mai 2021, mit der Impfung von Kindern zu beginnen, mit aller notwendigen Aufmerksamkeit noch einmal zu prüfen. Wir bitten Sie, diese Impfung zu verschieben bis man mehr über die Nebenwirkungen und das Nutzen-Risiko Verhältnis des Impfstoffes für Kinder weiß.

Frau Abgeordnete, Herr Abgeordneter, Herr Präsident

Ihre Verantwortung ist bedeutend und sie betrifft nicht nur die Zukunft Israels, sondern auch die der ganzen Menschheit. Ihre Entschlossenheit, die Kinder von Israel gegen diese unüberlegte Impfung zu schützen wird aus Israel in den Augen der Welt, einen Leuchtturm auf dem Weg des Schutzes der Demokratie und der kommenden Generationen machen statt ein « Labor der Welt » (um Pfizers Vorsitzenden Albert BOURLA zu zitieren).

Wir bedanken uns im Namen unserer Kinder im Voraus bei Ihnen.

APPELLO AI LEADERS ISRAELIANI A SALVAGUARDARE LA DEMOCRAZIA E LE GENERAZIONI FUTURE

Cari membri del Parlamento, Caro Presidente dello Stato di Israele,

riguardo al piano elaborato dal governo israeliano per vaccinare i bambini di età compresa fra i 12 e i 15 anni a maggio 2021, noi, cittadini dello stato di Israele e del mondo, richiediamo il vostro intervento per salvaguardare la democrazia e la salute dei nostri bambini. Attualmente, più di 5 milioni di cittadini israeliani, di cui il 90% della popolazione a rischio, sono stati vaccinati con entrambe le dosi, e dovrebbero essere protetti dalle più gravi forme della malattia nel caso in cui venissero contagiati dal Covid-19. Dall’altro lato, i bambini non rappresentano la popolazione a rischio, infatti una bassissima percentuale di bambini ha contratto le più gravi forme della malattia.

Oltretutto, i bambini non rappresentano un rischio di contagio per le fasce più deboli della popolazione, essendo queste in larga parte vaccinata.

La pressione a cui assistiamo da parte del governo israeliano e del ministro israeliano della salute per vaccinare i bambini di età compresa fra i 12 e i 15 anni (una popolazione di più di 750.000 mila persone), a partire da maggio 2021, con un trattamento che è ancora sperimentale, non è ragionevole e potrebbe mettere a rischio i nostri bambini, esponendoli a sostanze e tecnologie i cui potenziali effetti collaterali sono ancora oggetto di studio. Per esempio, un’anormale alto numero di casi di infiammazione al cuore o problemi inerenti al cuore (miocardite, pericardite) è stato recentemente osservato in persone in giovane età da poco vaccinate. 

È in questo contesto che ci rivolgiamo a voi, membri del parlamento e presidente di Israele, per fare in modo che i nostri bambini vengano protetti.

La vaccinazione dei bambini è una questione particolarmente delicata perché gli effetti collaterali sconosciuti dei vaccini possono aver un impatto significativo sulle loro vite.

Il problema non dovrebbe essere trattato come i problemi di routine inerenti alle normali vaccinazioni a chi sono sottoposti i bambini per tre motivi: primo, i vaccini contro il covid-19 usano una relativamente nuova tecnologia mRNA che non è mai stata usata prima di adesso nelle vaccinazioni di massa; secondo, la sperimentazione clinica del vaccino Pfizer in bambini di 12-15 anni non è iniziata fino a marzo 2021, su un numero molto piccolo di bambini, e non è prevista la fine fino ad aprile 2023, fornendo una visione limitata dei potenziali effetti collaterali; infine, l’immunità di gregge è probabilmente un obiettivo irraggiungibile a lungo termine e le persone vaccinate potrebbero aver bisogno di ricevere dosi aggiuntive nel prossimo futuro. Perciò, la decisione di iniziare a vaccinare i bambini deve essere contornata da un approccio etico rigoroso, prendendo in considerazione tutti i rischi associati. Il principio di Ippocrate che recita "Primo, non nuocere" deve essere la nostra guida oggi, soprattutto perché la vaccinazione di massa di bambini sani comporta conseguenze sconosciute a lungo termine per la salute e il futuro del popolo israeliano.

Alla luce di quanto sopra, vi chiediamo di considerare con la dovuta attenzione il piano del governo di iniziare le vaccinazioni dei bambini a maggio 2021 e di posporre l’inizio di esse fino a che non si avranno maggiori informazioni sugli effetti collaterali dei vaccini e sul rapporto di rischi e benefici che in relazione ai bambini deve essere valutato accuratamente.

La vostra responsabilità è immensa, e non riguarda solo il futuro di Israele, ma quello di tutta l'Umanità. Il Vostro atto di coraggio per proteggere i bambini d'Israele da questo piano sconsiderato farà di Israele non più il "laboratorio del mondo", secondo le parole dell'amministratore delegato di Pfizer, Albert Bourla, ma un faro mondiale nella salvaguardia della democrazia e delle generazioni future.

Estimado Sr./Sra., Estimado Presidente del Estado de Israel

Ante el plan del gobierno israelí de comenzar a vacunar a los niños de 12 a 15 años a partir de mayo de 2021, nosotros, ciudadanos del Estado de Israel y del mundo, solicitamos su intervención para salvaguardar la democracia y la salud de nuestros hijos. Actualmente, más de 5 millones de ciudadanos israelíes, incluido el 90% de la población de riesgo, han sido vacunados con ambas dosis, y deberían estar protegidos de una forma grave de la enfermedad en caso de que se infecten con COVID-19. Los niños, en cambio, no forman parte de la población de riesgo, con una tasa muy baja de niños que han contraído una forma grave de la enfermedad. Además, los niños no suponen un riesgo significativo para la población, ya que la gran mayoría de los grupos de riesgo ya están vacunados. La presión actual, tanto del gobierno como del Ministerio de Sanidad israelí, para vacunar a los niños de 12 a 15 años (una población de más de 750.000 individuos), a partir de mayo de 2021, con un tratamiento que aún está en fase de experimentación clínica, no es razonable y puede poner en riesgo a nuestros hijos, al exponerlos a sustancias y tecnología cuyos potenciales efectos secundarios aún se están investigando. Por ejemplo, recientemente se ha observado un número anormalmente alto de casos de inflamación del corazón o de los tejidos que lo rodean (miocarditis, pericarditis) en jóvenes sanos que han sido vacunados recientemente.

Es en este contexto que nos dirigimos a usted, Sr./Sra. Diputada, Sr. Presidente del Estado de Israel, como vía para proteger a nuestros niños.

La vacunación de los niños es una cuestión especialmente delicada, ya que los efectos secundarios inadvertidos de las vacunas pueden tener repercusiones importantes en la mayor parte de sus vidas. La cuestión no debería tratarse como cualquier otra vacuna infantil rutinaria por al menos tres razones: En primer lugar, la vacuna utiliza una tecnología de ARNm relativamente nueva que nunca antes se había utilizado en la vacunación masiva; en segundo lugar, el ensayo clínico de la vacuna de Pfizer en niños de 12 a 15 años no comenzó hasta marzo de 2021, en un número muy reducido de niños, y no está previsto que finalice hasta abril de 2023, lo que proporciona una visión limitada de los posibles efectos secundarios ; Por último, la inmunidad de grupo es probablemente un objetivo inalcanzable a largo plazo y los vacunados pueden necesitar recibir dosis adicionales en un futuro próximo. Por lo tanto, la decisión de empezar a vacunar a los niños debe enmarcarse en un enfoque ético riguroso, teniendo en cuenta todos los riesgos asociados. Su responsabilidad es inmensa, y no sólo afecta al futuro de Israel, sino al de toda la humanidad. Su valeroso acto de proteger a los niños de Israel de esta vacuna mal concebida hará que Israel deje de ser el "laboratorio del mundo", en palabras del director general de Pfizer, Albert Bourla, y se convierta en un faro mundial para salvaguardar la democracia y las generaciones futuras.

קריאה לשמירה על הדמוקרטיה ועל בריאות הדורות העתידיים

לאור התוכנית של ממשלת ישראל להתחיל לחסן ילדים בני 12-15 החל מחודש מאי 2021, אנחנו - אזרחי מדינת ישראל והעולם, מבקשים את התערבותכם לצורך השמירה על הדמוקרטיה ועל בריאות הדורות העתידיים

נכון להיום למעלה מ-5 מליון אזרחים ישראלים, מתוכם 90% מאוכלוסיית הסיכון, חוסנו בשתי מנות, ואמורים להיות מוגנים מפני מחלה קשה אם חלילה יידבקו בווירוס הקורונה

לעומת זאת, ילדים אינם שייכים לאוכלוסיית הסיכון והקורונה לא מסכנת את חייהם. מבלי להיכנס לרבדים רפואיים ו/או מדעיים כי לא זאת המטרה של מכתבינו זה, ידוע כי מערכת החיסונית של הילדים שונה משל המבוגרים ולכן, מעט מאוד ילדים חלו באופן קשה ו/או נפטרו מהדבקות בווירוס הקורונה. נוסיף כי הילדים אינם מהווים סכנה עבור שאר האוכלוסייה ועל אחת כמה וכמה, עבור האוכלוסייה המחוסנת

הלחצים המופעילם היום, הן מצד הממשלה והן מצד משרד הבריאות, לחסן ילדים בריאים בני 12-15 (כ-750,000 ילדים) החל ממאי 2021, ע"י תכשיר שעדיין נמצא בשלב הניסוי הקליני, בלתי סבירים ואף עלולים לסכן את הילדים אשר ייחשפו לחומר ולטכנולוגיה אשר השפעתם ותופעות הלוואי שלהם, לטווח הקצר והארוך כאחד, עדיין נלמדות נכון להיום. למשל, נצפו מקרים לא מבוטלים של דלקות בשריר ובקרום הלב אצל צעירים בריאים לאחר קבלת החיסון

לכן, אנו פונים אליכם בהקשר זה, כשומרי החוק, למען בריאות ילדינו

נושא חיסון הילדים הינו נושא רגיש במיוחד שהרי ישנן תופעות לוואי שעדיין לא ידועות ואשר עלולות להשפיע על המשך חייהם של הילדים. ולכן, ההחלטה לחסן את הילדים אינה עוד החלטה על חיסונים בשגרה וזאת לאור העובדות הבאות: החיסון הינו טכנולוגיה חדשנית יחסית אשר טרם נעשה בה שימוש כה רחב על אוכלוסיות שלמות; הניסויים של פייזר על ילדים בני 12-15 החלו בחודש מרץ 2021 עם מספר מצומצם יחסית של ילדים ואמורים להסתיים בחודש אפריל 2023, דבר אשר לא מאפשר הבנה של התופעות הלוואי לטווח הארוך; לבסוף, ייתכן והמחוסנים יצטרכו לקבל מנות נוספות של החיסון בעתיד הקרוב כך שטיעון חסינות העדר להצדקת חיסון ילדים אינו קביל עוד
