Lebanon Needs You: Unite for Immediate Ceasefire and Accountability

We, the Lebanese diaspora, are deeply concerned about the security and future of Lebanon.

In the face of relentless Israeli bombardments, over 1,100 lives have been lost since Sunday, and almost 1 million civilians have been internally displaced. Schools have turned into uninhabitable shelters, leaving the Lebanese people to lead humanitarian efforts once again, just as they did during the August 4th Beirut port explosion.

The Lebanese state is absent while ordinary citizens struggle to protect their families and provide basic necessities. With resources nearly depleted and no safe haven remaining in Lebanon, the international community must act.

We demand:

1- Immediate ceasefire to halt all hostilities and prevent further loss of life.

2- Enforcement of UN Security Council Resolution 1701, demanding the cessation of hostilities and the restoration of peace.

3- Accountability from the Lebanese government , to assume its responsibility in enforcing security, restoring sovereignty, and making decisions regarding war and peace.

We call upon the international community to stand in solidarity with Lebanon and demand that the Lebanese government take swift, responsible actions to protect its people and its future .
